Compassion Blogger

Have you heard of Compassion International?

A Christian Organization reaching out to children throughout the globe living in Poverty.

Did you know there is a network of hundreds of bloggers who use their voice in the blog-o-sphere to advocate for children in poverty?

Literally Hundreds.

As a family we are sponsoring two children. One lives in the Dominican Republic. The second in Honduras.

Jana’s Three Dresses is a ministry that is being called to extend itself beyond the www.

I plan to share the stories of these children with you. Maybe it will stir your hearts. There are thousands in need. The longest wait-list are the older children. Consider sponsoring a child over the age of 10.

In addition to using my voice, I am prayerful about the possibility of supporting a child financially through the ministry of jana’s three dresses.

$38 a month.

That is all that is needed.

And the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, saying, “Thus says the Lord of hosts, Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another, do not oppress the widow, the fatherless, the sojourner, or the poor, and let none of you devise evil against another in your heart.” (Zechariah 7:8-10)

  1. Hi Jana! I blog for Compassion too, although had to take a break in December. We sponsor a 12 year old boy and 10 year old girl in El Salvador. My dream is to go there on a Compassion Blogger tour one day and meet them in person.

So glad to meet you through Tribe Writers!

    • Hi Susan, Yes, I am so glad to meet you, and so many other wonderful people through Tribe Writers. Compassion is such an amazing organization. And, for them to use the blogging network to reach more potential sponsors…I am amazed that bloggers, like you and I, have the potential to change the world. Blessings to you in the New Year! ~jana

I would love to hear from you!
