But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles;they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)

How will you wait for Him today?

Welcome Holy Sabbath. May I seek rest and remembrance today. Amen

  1. Hi Jana,
I just wanted to say how much I enjoy reading your blog. I appreciate your willingness to be so candid about your life and your relationship with God. It’s refreshing to have someone be so open and gentle at the same time.
I’m so sorry to hear of your terrible loss. I, too, understand the sudden, unexpected, unbelievable loss of a brother and the sorrow, anger, despair, denial, loss and regret that go with it, as well as so many other emotions. Thank you for sharing your painful story and your loving grace that truly blesses me and, I’m sure, so many other people.
I pray that you and your family have a smooth and uneventful move and have faith that God will bless you where ever you are!

    • Thank you,Della Sue. I am glad you found your way to jana’s three dresses. I pray you continue to find the love of God here. It is my prayer that he will meet you where you need him to most today and everyday. Newly Purposed, Jana

  2. Jana,
This is one of my favorite Bible verses. I’ve been following your blog since you started it and I enjoy reading what you write. I get chills reliving your story of Corry’s loss and remembering, at the same time, how special he was to so many people. Greg and I always have the memory and pictures of Corry playing cello at our wedding. Although we don’t have an audio recording of his songs from that day, we cherish his talent that he shared with many people that day. Blessings to you and your family. I will continue to read your blog and follow your road of being newly-purposed.

    • Christina, Thank you so much for your support. It is great to hear from you. Yes, I remember your wedding well, too. I am glad you like the blog. This is a new beginning for me, and I am loving every minute of it!

I would love to hear from you!
